CLEANING TECHNICIANS NEEDED

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead our janitorial and custodial teams. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across various commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive cleaning and housekeeping experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Duties

• Perform commercial cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning appliances, and dusting. Removing garbage & recycling and replacing liners.
• Direct, supervise, lead and motivate cleaning staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety compliance, and equipment maintenance.
• Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies. Cover during team member absences.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels.
• Report directly to Clean Suite's owner, and help address client concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues related to cleanliness or service quality.
• Enforce security, health and safety regulations in accordance with industry standards.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in commercial cleaning or custodial management.
• Strong experience background in janitorial services, hospitality housekeeping management, or hotel/restaurant cleaning is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning best practices, safety standards, and equipment operation.
• Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management will be considered an asset. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about maintaining clean environments while leading teams towards excellence in service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years commercial cleaning experience
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass criminal background check
• Comfortable working nights between 6 pm - 11 pm, and weekends which have flexible time scheduling (no overnights)
• Attention to detail & professionalism

As a Cleaning Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our clients' facilities, within Hunterdon County.

Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and disinfect high-touch areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Maintain high security protocols
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs

Experience Preferred:
- Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in work
- Reliable, hard worker
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and coworkers

10-25 hours per week.  Schedule can be customized to employees' routine availability. If applicants prefer only nights, only weekends, only days, or ALL, we can customize schedules to fit availability to design a workload to accommodate their needs. Most accounts are nights and weekends so that is ideal.
